Clavicytherium based on 17th century South German instruments

The southern German baroque instrument is made of walnut and richly decorated with blackened flame mouldings. The mechanism follows an idea of Martin Kaiser, who in the 17th century used quarter-circular jacks to deflect the movement of the keys in an instrument that has survived to this day (now in Vienna), whereby the playability retains all the advantages of a harpsichord.
