Harpsichord after Pierre Donzelague 1711, double-manual

The most important French harpsichord building of the 18th century took place in Paris, but there were also successful workshops in the provinces. Here we have an example which was made in Lyon and which stands tonally between the Ruckers instruments and the late French instruments which were completely optimised for the indulgence in euphony. So early in the 18th century already with a full five-octave range.
